Eighth Maker is a celebration of the Beringers family's heritage brought full circle. The name is a nod to Mark Beringer becoming Beringer's eighth winemaker, 139 years after his great-great-grandfather Jacob and Jacobs brother, Frederick, founded this winery. This wine is produced from the Beringer estate's most prestigious vineyards and is a culmination of over a century of crafting iconic Napa wines. Lush, balanced, and with excellent potential for aging, Eighth Maker is both an achievement and a homecoming.
Tasting Notes: This 100% Napa Valley Cabernet has a rich deep garnet color that leads to aromas and flavors of dark fruit such as blackberries, black cherry and wild mountain blueberries. Full bodied and plush, with fine grained tannins, great balance and an appealing freshness. Stunning to present today, those with the patience to cellar for a few years will find the wine continually evolving, leading to even more enjoyment.
